Round 6 1999/2000 Motorsport Ireland National Forest Rally Championship

Dermot Kelly and navigator Greg Shinnors are the new 1999/2000 National Forest Rally Champions after they took their fourth win of the season today in the Tipperary Forestry Rally.

From Limerick, the crew won the event and title in fine style finishing over two minutes ahead of second place finishers Peter McCullock (Dublin) and co-driver Stephen Griffith (Armagh), after Domonic McNeill
Their closest challengers for the championship Derry's Eugene Donnelly and his Kerry navigator Paul Nagle sheared a wheel early on during the Mitchelstown based event, dropping then down the Top Ten and out of Contentation.
