16/02/08 Judging by the number of entries received at the moment and the number of enquiries, a big entry is expected for the first round of the Killarney and district Motor Club / Darby o' Gills Autocross Championship. Competitors are reminded that the FIA 1986 standard race suits are not permitted, and underwear, socks, balaclava, boots and gloves are required. 29/01/07 Regulations available from Club website: 17/01/08 The first round of the Killarney and District Motor Club Autocross Championship gets under way on February 17th which is earlier than on previous years. The championship will be sponsored once more by Darby O' Gills Country House Hotel. A special effort will be made this year to revitalise the championship and get it back to what it was a number of years ago. Events will be run to a strict time schedule with the emphasis on an enjoyable day out for the competitor and spectator. At the moment it is intended to use the same track as was used in the last round in '07, which was widely praised by the competitors. The club is willing to put in the work to run good events, but to make the championship work competitors are needed. Championship registration will be available at the first event and regs will be available online from 25th January. So get your cars ready!
