With a few days to go to Ted’s TotalOpel Run 2011, the interest is enormous. To date we have almost sixty cars listed to take part from all corners of the country. This is the fourth Annual Run solely attributed the Opel/GM brand. It has attracted so much widespread attention that the English magazine “Total Vauxhall” are sending a representative to participate on the day. We the Committee are extremely grateful to our two main Sponsors, Kevin O’Leary Opel Dealer and Horgan Fitted Furniture for their generosity in these difficult economic times, and to those who donated spot prizes for the run.

On the morning of the Run, Registration is between 9.00am and 10.15am. Entry fee per car is €20. Each driver will receive a starter’s prize and raffle tickets for all occupants. There will be two raffles on the day, one at lunch and one on return to Blarney Golf Resort. There will be four Special Awards throughout the day at different stages as well as the Perpetual Shield. The Run will Start @ 10.30am sharp.

The ROUTE: Blarney Golf Resort > Taking the old butter road > over Mushera Mountain > Onto Millstreet town > out the Macroom road and down over Mullaghanish > Stopping at the Mills Inn Ballyvourney for Lunch at a cost of €15. P/P. to be paid for at Registration.

After lunch we depart the Mills Inn > Through Ballyvourney Village > Reinaree > Toonsbridge > Hartnett’s Cross > Farnanes > Coachford (Short stop here) > Dripsey > Cloghroe > Tower > and the Blarney > Golf Resort Hotel.

On the Saturday night like previous years, there will be a social night to follow on from the run at the Blarney Golf Resort.

The launch of the fourth Annual "Ted`s Total Opel will be held Run" at the Blarney Golf Resort Hotel, Tower, Blarney, Co. Cork, on Sunday the 17th June at 2PM,

Attending will be cars of all ages for a photo shoot & press launch.
The two main Sponsors for this years run, Horgan Fitted Furniture, Vicarstown, Co. Cork. & Kevin O'Leary Group (Opel Dealers) Bandon, Silversprings, Clonmel. will also be in attendance.

This car run which takes place on the 13th August is the main event of the year by the Opel Owners Club of Ireland.
