"As of Friday lunchtime, some roads are already impassable and with more snow to fall before the rally starts the organising club had no option but to call off the event.

This was unfortunate as with a healthy entry for the rally, the club was looking forward to a good evening's sport. It is hoped that the event can be rescheduled for later in the year."

After the year-long Rallyschool in 2012 the Tour of the Mournes Navigation Rally on the 18th January is the first round of the 2013 championship. Given the long break, the instructions will be easy! All 2013 Navigation events are being run under Clubman Status. Therefore, competitors in Classes 1, 2 and 3 will only need a MSA Clubman’s licence! Beginners and Rallyschool (Class 4) competitors do not need any licence.
