Midsummer Caerwent Rally 2014 - CANCELLED

"It is with a great deal of regret that the organising team have taken the decision to cancel the running of this years' event.

This action has been taken purely because of unforeseen military training taking place around this date, and for no other reason.

It means that the venue will be in use by the MOD and is not available to us on 21/22 June. After extensive discussions with the MOD we were offered two alternative dates. Unfortunately, for a variety of reasons we are unable to move to either because our event would then disrupt other established events running on those dates.

It is not envisaged that this will have any detrimental effect on the running of Septembers Patriot Stages or indeed any future events run by the Caerwent Rallies organising clubs.

This is the first time in the last 20 years that the organising clubs have had to take this drastic action. We like to publicly thank the MOD for doing their level best to try to accommodate us but in the end the decision was made for them at a higher level.

The Patriot Stages will now be the next event to be held at the Caerwent Training Area on Sunday 28th September 2014."
