Posted: October 11, 2016 4:28 AM

Connacht Motor Club plays host to a Hewison Autotest Championship double on the closing weekend of October. The two day festival held over Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th of October hopes to attract all the regular patrons of the prestigious championship as well as those wishing to combine sporting action with recreation on the West of Ireland coast.

The events held at totally different venues on each day both have the capacity for open and flowing tests and are in close proximity to Sligo town. John Golden Clerk of the Course and his team are committed to put together an enjoyable spectacle for the weekend.

To add to the festivities many of the drivers are availing of the overnight comforts of the Pier Head Hotel in the beautiful beach resort of Mullaghmore, much featured as the most picturesque stage of Rally Ireland.

Regulations and event details will become available on www.connachtmotorclub.com shortly.
