National Navigation Trial Championship 2016-17 – Provisional Points Table after Final Round (Monaghan)

Cork MC 1000 Shakes Navigation Trial: The Sub-Committee have been informed that Cork MC have decided, with regret, that they will not be rescheduling the 2017 1000 Shakes Navigation Trial (which was postponed due to the Insurance difficulties), as no suitable alternative date can be found.

National Navigation Trial Championship: As a result of the non-running of the Cork MC event, the number of counting rounds of the National Championship will be reduced by one as per Art 2.4 of App 34

Revised Appendices 33 & 34 Published

Appendix 33 has changes in regard to

i) Lights (incl provision for spot checks on bulbs)
ii) Cages (proper padding required, no cages from October 2018)
iii) In car cameras (banned)
iv) intervals between Time Recovery Sections
v) damage declaration forms & penalties re same
vi) CLO & Beginners class compulsory (were recommended)

as well as other “housekeeping” changes.

Appendix 34 (re Championship) is effectively unchanged.
