After a break of 24 years Dukeries Motor Club will once again promote a Single Venue Rally with the inaugural running of the Flying Fortress Stages Rally on Sunday 18th March 2012.

The new stage event will be held on a former WW2 American 8th Air Force Base which is part of a 'Private Estate' in Northhamptonshire. The venue is new to motorsport and will allow the organising team to give the competitors approximately 45 stages miles.

During initial preparation work the estate staff have unearthed roads that have not seen daylight for over five decades. The concrete tracks (some of which are tree-lined), are in excellent condition and the venue will provide a challenging day's motorsport.

Entries will be at a premium as the club will limit the number of entries to ensure that the event runs as smooth as possible and without delay.
