Latest update:

Posted: September 13, 2011 10:46 AM

After being inundated with entries within a few days we reorganised and increased the maximum to 100 cars, so a quality entry from the best crews in the country.

The rally will start with a demonstration run by F1 cars past the spectator area helping to promote the carnival atmosphere we are striving for. The first stage will include a yump (jump) creating some great photo opportunities; in fact we have an award for the best jump. We have two stages in the dark on Saturday night and as the cars finish the first days rallying to fireworks it will complete an exciting days motorsport.

Sunday will be just as exciting, with plenty of time to enjoy the inside trade stalls, outside displays, maybe follow the TV crew interview the competitors in the spacious Service Area.

Spectators can enjoy a stunt driving display and classic competition car demonstration during the changes to the stages that normally produces lulls in the proceedings.

So non stop action all weekend, the best news is it's FREE, there is a car park charge but there is a significant discount on a limited number of tickets, on offer now at

Posted: February 18, 2011 2:24 PM

BUT NOW Weston-super-Mare Motor Club, are ready.
Bath & West Showground, are ready.
The organising team, are ready.
Safety and support crews, are ready.
Everyone else supporting the event, are ready. SO NO MATTER WHAT
22nd and 23rd OCTOBER IS THE NEW DATE.

New Date

"WITH REGRET, THE ORGANISERS OF THE REGENCY STAGES RALLY HAVE TO ADVISE A DATE CHANGE.

THE ROYAL BATH & WEST SOCIETY’S PREMIER EVENT – THE ROYAL BATH & WEST SHOW – TAKES PLACE ONLY 5 WEEKS AFTER EASTER AND HAVING CONSIDERED THE PREPARATION TIME FOR THE SHOW, THE POSSIBLE DAMAGE TO ROADS AND GRASS AND THE POSSIBLE NEED THEREFORE TO REPAIR IN A VERY SHORT TIME, THE SOCIETY CONSIDER THIS A RISK TOO HIGH.

FOLLOWING A MEETING WITH THE CHIEF EXECUTIVE ON 26TH JANUARY 2011, THE WESTON-SUPER-MARE MOTOR CLUB HAVE AGREED TO MOVE THE DATE.

THE FORMAT OF THE EVENT WILL REMAIN AS PREVIOUSLY ANNOUNCED: UP TO 12 STAGES TOTALLING APPROX 55 MILES WITH SOME UNUSUAL FEATURES. 90% TARMAC WITH SOME SMOOTH, COMPACT GRAVEL SECTIONS AND MUCH, MUCH MORE…………………

THE ‘REGENCY’ ORGANISERS APOLOGISE FOR THIS CHANGE BUT RESPECT THE REPUTATION OF THE ROYAL BATH & WEST SHOW AND THE NEED TO WORK WITH THE SOCIETY AND SURROUNDING COMMUNITY IN THE INTERESTS OF WHAT WE HOPE WILL BE A LONG TERM FUTURE AT THE SHOWGROUND. "
