Entries still available for Round 2

Competitors are reminded that entries are still being accepted for Round 2 of Connacht Motor Clubs Loose Surface Autocross on Sunday next in Saehan. Contact with event secretary before midday on Saturday, when the final starters list will be generated, may allow for a place on the list .Competing on Sunday 19th will be the last opportunity to qualify for championship points for the remaining rounds.

Round 1 winner , Enda Haran will most likely not be ready for Sunday next , due to the damage the car incurred with the off in Monaghan Rally and focusing instead on having it ready for Cavan.

Joseph Smith, who was leading for the first two runs on Easter Sunday last , would likely be tipped as favourite , but should past winner , young Lipsett return to Sligo , results would be hard to predict. Mayo Rally, Clerk of the Course, Padraic Roche finished a very credible third overall on the last day so he, no doubt have his sights set on a title.

Clerk of the course for the event, David Currid has agreed that the track is identical to that of the last day, which is a anticlockwise, whilst it will revert back to a right hand format for the final two rounds later in the year.
