"It is with regret that Magherafelt & District Motor Club have to announce the cancellation of this year's Tour of the Sperrins Rally, which is a round of the McGrady Insurance NI Forest Challenge and the Southern Forestry Championship.
Due to the prohibitive costs of repairing the gravel forests, it is not realistic or viable to pass a share of these costs onto the competitors. This decision was not taken lightly, alot of work has already been undertaken by the organising
committee."
